009 Ordinary Gods, The Trap, Black Market Narrative +
Hey there! Happy Monday! I was hoping to get this out on Friday, but unfortunately I lost a big chunk of last week to (more) knee surgery. For those who don’t know, I tore my ACL and meniscus back in 2018, a combination of two basketball injuries and then getting on stage at Power Morphicon, where it popped and I fell in front of 1,000 people before Dan Southworth and Sean CW Johnson caught me.
And then we ran the panel. True story.
Black Market Weekend
So why was I trying to get this out on Friday? Well, as a host of projects start to settle into their respective grooves, I’m finally able to start building a more consistent schedule. Or at least, I’m going to try to build a more consistent schedule.
What that means is, I’m going to try to get newsletters out on Fridays — hoping they’ll be something between a nice end-of-the-week rundown as well as a Cool Things For Your Weekend list.
Also! I’m working on building a few column “staples” — watch/read lists, behind the scenes bits, interviews with other creators, etc. But what do YOU want to see in your inbox?
