Eisner Nomination
On Wednesday, the Eisner Awards announced this year’s nominees which includes the Best New Series category—
Yeah, everything I wrote on Twitter still applies. The Eisners are not something I’ve been a part of in any way before— the fact that a whole bunch of team Radiant Black/Massive-Verse are going to be at SDCC this year definitely makes this one even cooler.
And hey, at least we can’t technically lose to Nightwing! I don’t know if my heart could take it.

The Dead Lucky
Yesterday, Gizmodo ran a first look at The Dead Lucky, a killer new Massive-Verse title from Melissa Flores (Power Rangers), French Carlomagno (Books of Magic, Radiant Black) Mattia Iacono and Becca Carey.
The series stars Bibiana “Bibi” Lopez-Yang as a vet who recently returned to San Francisco, only to discover that “tech consortium Morrow is building the city of the future with ‘peacekeeper’ robots looming on every corner—and wherever Morrow isn’t, the Salvation gang is. If she can hold it together, she might be the hero San Francisco needs. But against an enemy this big, it isn’t enough to be good. She’ll have to be lucky.”
